Makmur C. T. Sdn Bhd, invites application for the position : Accountant. We are looking for a full time accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. (Full Set of Accounts)
Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and preparing financial statements as and when required. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.
Qualification, skills & experience:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting / Certified Accounting Technician (C. A. T)
- Previous work experience as bookkeeper at least one year.
- Solid knowledge on double entry
- Chinese literacy will be considered an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Hands on experience with Accounting Software
- Age within 24 - 40 years old
- Brunei Citizen/ Permanent Residents only
▪ Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
▪ Preparation of financial reports e. g cash flow analysis forecast
▪ Verifying purchase invoices against bank statements in foreign language
▪ Manage all accounting transactions
▪ Handle monthly and annual closings
▪ Preparation of management final accounts for tax return purposes
▪ Check and verify Bank reconciliation
▪ Manage both A/C Receivables and Payables
▪ Verfiy, allocate, post and reconcile transactions
▪ Plan, assign and review staff´s work
