Position: Audit Coordinator

Job Description:
Purpose of position
Coordinate the audit team to ensure that the entities operations and financial information´s are as per generally accepted principles, established procedures, departmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements applicable to the work and to provide recommendations to improve them.
Scope
Design, execution and review the internal financial, operational and other controls. Conduct audit as per audit plan. Statutory reporting within time limits.
Responsibilities:
Internal Audits
Conduct audit to identify the compliance with various internal control and initiate preparation of audit summaries to be reviewed by the Supervisor/Manager of Audit.
Review results to identify trends and as applicable will bring forth compliance concerns to Audit management.
Prepare draft of internal audit results for review and discussion by Audit team.
Create Audit case files according to schedules. as applicable.
External Audits
Pre-review files and materials requested for external audits. provide summary of findings so that issues can be shared with the Operational Areas prior to submission to client.
Ensure all required documentation (e. g. manuals, policies. requested files, etc. ) requested by the external auditors are available or shared for review for on-site, remote audits.
Participate in on-site audits, as needed.
Daily Monitoring/Coordination
Assist Manager to review data that identifies operational deficiencies and is used to determine corrections that will need to be made to conform to compliance metrics.
Assign and coordinate the audit team to various audits and coordinate the work carried out by them to meet the timelines.
ln preparation for an audit will run reports out or Audit systems which summarize monitoring activities, results and corrective actions taken.
Focused Audits/Investigations
Under the direction of Manager participate in focused audits/ Investigations, as assigned, to identify operational compliance with processes.
Other duties as assigned
Statutory /Legal aspect
Ensure all statutory reporting has taken place within time frame.
Coordinate with operational, Accounts, HR and other team for necessary information required for reporting.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Should be well versed in accounting knowledge, Writing skills & skill in reviewing data.
Thorough knowledge in office automation and accounting software and report generation.
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Education Required: Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent
Age: 25 - 45 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 1, 650 / Month
