Job Details:
Position: Cathodic Protection Technician/Cathodic Protection Tester
Total Vacancy: 2 Male/Female
Job Responsibilities:
• Carry out regular checks and maintenance on the EQUIPMENT used for the potential measurement work
• Carry out CP potential measurement
• Visual inspection of CP system and highlight any abnormal condition Keep good record of CP data
Cathodic Protection Technician Responsibilities:
• Carry out regular checks and maintenance on the EQUIPMENT used for the potential measurement work.
• Carry out CP potential measurement
• Visual inspection of CP system and highlight any abnormal condition Keep good record of CP data.
• Installing and commissioning of transformer rectifier with supervision from a cathodic protection engineer.
• Hook-up of components (junction box, transformer rectifier, etc. ) within a cathodic protection system, i. e. laying of cables to establish electrical connection between components.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
• ND in Mechanical Engineering, G. C. E. ´A´ level, Minimum of four (4) G. C. E. ´O´ Levels or COMPANY approved equivalent
• Valid NACE CP level 1 or equivalent. (CP Tester)
• Valid NACE CP level 2 or equivalent (CP Technician)
• Preferred IRATA Level 3/2/1
Successfully completed training courses on:
• MS Excel
• MS Word
• MS Power Point.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Have at least 3 years of practical experience in Cathodic Protection System maintenance works in Oil and Gas industry (onshore and offshore)
BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
• Be familiar with Electrical component within a Cathodic Protection System
• Knowledge of Corrosion Principles and related International Codes and applicable COMPANY Standards.
• Have good knowledge of all aspects related to Health, Safety and Environment in carrying out the WORK Be fluent in both spoken and written English
• Salary package is negotiable depending on the working and relevant experience in the industry

Age: 21 - 30 years old

Basic Salary: B$ 1, 500 / Month
