Daycare Assistant

- Support lead teachers in creating a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children.
- Assist in implementing daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, playtime, and clean-up.
- Help supervise children during activities, maintaining close attention to safety and well-being.
- Participate in age-appropriate activities and play to encourage children´s development in areas like motor skills, social skills, and creativity.
- Aid in preparing and organizing materials and resources needed for daily activities.
- Assist with hygiene routines, including diapering, potty training, hand-washing, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Provide nurturing care and support to individual children, offering comfort as needed.
- Encourage positive interactions among children, guiding them in sharing, cooperation, and communication.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers under the guidance of the lead teacher, sharing relevant updates about the child’s day.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe daycare environment, including sanitizing toys and cleaning up after activities.
- Observe children’s behaviors and report any concerns about development or safety to the lead teacher or supervisor.
- Step in to assist with any additional tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations in the daycare.
