Responsibilities:-
- Preparation of monthly management accounts to agreed timescales, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Calculate and provide commentary on variances from the budget, reporting significant issues to management
- Maintain accruals and prepayments schedules
- Maintain and manage the Capex process
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting (such as margin and departmental reporting)
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen in internal controls
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Assist with the audit
- Continuous support of Finance team members, processes and procedures
Requirements:-
- Qualified ACCA/CIMA with prior experience in management accounts and team management
- Knowledge and experience of working within an oil and gas company would be beneficial but not essential
- A high proficiency in Excel is also prerequisite
