Job Summary:
As a General Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in accordance with Blue Castle Restaurant’s standards. You will work closely with the Restaurant Owner, Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in line with Blue Castle Restaurant’s recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and presented beautifully.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place for the day’s service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all health and safety regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Receive and store food supplies, equipment, and utensils in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist with daily cleaning and kitchen maintenance tasks.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene practices.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a busy kitchen environment preferred but not required.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Salary:
$700 / month inclusive of meal allowance = 650 (basic) + 50 (meal allowance)
