Position: Head Chef

Job Responsibilities :
â€¢ Expected to make sure the restaurant meets all regulations, including sanitary and safety guidelines.
â€¢ Preparing breakfast for the hotel guests and daily staffs meal
â€¢ Overall responsibility for daily operations in the kitchen
â€¢ Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders
â€¢ Producing menus and new dishes
â€¢ Managing, training and recruiting a brigade of chefs
â€¢ Maintaining/raising the food´s profit margin within food cost
â€¢ Interviewing and hiring new staff
â€¢ Monitoring and controling stock
â€¢ Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.
â€¢ Estimating costs and ensuring all purchases come within budget.
â€¢ Taking care of the kitchenâ€™s accounts and creating a work roster.
â€¢ Previous line cook or food prep experience preferred
â€¢ Creativity; management, communication, scheduling, and organizational skills; business expertise preferred
â€¢ Outstanding cooking skills. Real creativity when it comes to food.
â€¢ An ability to create menus that are i
ovative and profitable.
â€¢ A deep understanding of ingredients and produce.
â€¢ The capacity to work under extreme pressure.
â€¢ Excellent leadership and management.
â€¢ The ability to delegate tasks.
Education Required: National Diploma
Age: 30 - 45 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 700 / Month
