Job Requirements:
Candidate description:
Fluent in English;
Exceptional leadership skills, team player, passionate about team development, guiding and supporting your team;
Enthusiastic about working with swimmers of all abilities and developing everyone to reach their full potential;
Person of integrity, excellent communication skills, ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty, holds a can-do attitude;
Willing to work irregular hours and weekends.
Education and experience requirements:
Coach Certification ASCA Level 2, or equivalent, is preferred. Must be current, including all safety requirements and background checks (e. g. CPR, First Aid & Coaches Safety Training);
College degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
At least 5 years of coaching experience in a leadership role, with experience in learn-to-swim programs and squad coaching.
Job Scopes:
Training and teaching
Together with the team review existing swimming program and syllabus, suggest changes if required;
Implementation of swim programmes to meet the needs of non-competitive and competitive swimmers at all levels following the vision and strategic goals;
Incorporate basic life-saving/water safety skills into swim programmes;
Ensure the team follows the unified integral approach to the teaching and coaching students;
Assessment of swimmers’ abilities;
Teach and train students of all ages and levels from young to old from beginners to squad;
Provide basic instruction and training for Panaga Club Facility Team in the safe running and daily operations of the pool, including the safety of Panaga Club Members;
