Position: Head of Corporate Communications
Total Vacancy: 1 Male/Female

Job Description:

Oversee the management of the group’s brand

1. ensure the branding of the group’s business units reflect the brand
2. ensure digital and non-digital marketing materials are consistent with our brand
3. work with the HR department and Senior Management Team (SMT) to ensure that staff are effective brand ambassadors
4. manage the Public Relations (PR), multimedia and communications activities

Drive the group’s public relations activities

1. be the integral expert and go-to person for advice and support on PR activities. In particular, you will provide guidance and support to the SMT in this area of work
2. Oversee our media profile. This will involve liaising with journalists, responding to press inquiries as well as proactively generating coverage to promote our work and impact
3. Brief internal spokespeople and source/provide media training to ensure they are better skilled to respond to media opportunities

Oversee the delivery of our Corporate Communications

1. Lead the drafting and delivery of key publications including Annual Magazines, Company Policies and Procedures ·
2. Identify ways to improve the way we share information to the wider organization, our clients and stakeholders
3. Ensure digital media platforms across the company are up to date and have relevant content – including our website and social media platforms

Provides instruction, training, and resources in order to facilitate the use of technology in the classroom which will increase student use and knowledge about technology

1. Provides input in the development of a system-wide and building level programs that enables students to use technology as learning tools. Investigates and disseminates information on best practices for technology integration, sources of information on trends, research and applications related to technology use in the school program
. Participates in the development of activities that help integrate technology into various curriculum areas
3. Gathers information documenting the effectiveness of the program, interprets this information, and provides constructive input in evaluation of the program
4. Provides training to teachers in the use of current technology to meet curriculum goals.
5. Provides training to teachers to ensure integration of student computer competencies as outlined by the school policy.

Employee management

1. Responsible for the management of the Office of Corporate Communications staff. To supervise, motivate and monitor performance, including conducting regular supervision meetings, managing sick days and holidays and approving relevant assignments

Event management

1. Able to articulately propose ideas to improve event quality and enhance success
2. Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities
3. Handles events-related logistics
4. Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently

Others responsibilities

1. Working within the company’s policies and procedures
2. Working to improve the company’s social and corporate objectives
3. Other duties commensurate with the post
4. Attendance at company/school-wide events, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM), relevant Professional Development (PD) sessions, etc

Education Required: First Degree or equivalent
Age: 30 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 1, 500 / Month
Employment Type: Full Time
