Job Description:

Purpose of position

• Preparing basic and servicing all food items according to the production standards established by Head chef.

Scope

• Kitchen helper responsible for the daily mise-en-place and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities.

Responsibilities Kitchen Duties:

• Performs any combination of following duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition, Sweeps and mops floors.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Steam-cleans or hoses-out garbage cans.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays.
• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dish washing machine.
• Sets up banquet tables.
• Washes and peels vegetables, using knife or peeling machine.
• Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.

Age: 18 - 25 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 400 / Month
Allowances: B$ 50
Employment Type: Full Time
