Job Description:
A Marketing Manager organises and manages marketing campaigns to raise awareness of and generate demand for products and services. Provide support to the Sales Senior Manager and sales teams to achieve sales objectives and ensure business needs are being met.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contributes to marketing strategy by studying economic indicators, tracking changes in supply and demand, identifying customers and their current and future needs, and monitoring the competition.
- Obtains market share by developing marketing plans and programs for each product and directing promotional support.
- Maintains relations with customers by organising and developing specific customer-relations programs and determining company presence at conventions, annual meetings, trade associations, and seminars.
- Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
- Develops new uses for existing products by analysing statistics regarding market development, acquiring and analysing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
- Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
- Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Completes marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
- Develop marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- Proven working experience in sales and marketing, particularly within the industry.
- Demonstrable experience leading and managing sales, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
