Job Description:

SUMMARY:

As the Inventory/Purchasing Officer will monitor and report on the F&N inventory. You will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods and services and managing vendors.
The Inventory/Purchasing Manager will be able to perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for all purchasing completed throughout a group of companies.
Company Program software, ensuring proper functionality
Owner of contract and contract track process, including the bidding process
Ensures proper costing of all F&B products and any other products that cycle through Supermarkets.
Develop and manage purchasing & operation budgets/forecasts
Coordinate, manager, mentor, and monitor the workings of the company in relation to all aspects of Supply Chain

Effective demand & supply scenario planning, implement the procurement & sourcing strategies to ensure correct sell/buy prices are maintained
Coordination & management of supply chain procedures with other functional areas, such as F&B, marketing, and corporate departments
Identify ways to optimize inventory control procedures
Negotiate, monitor and manage all supply agreements with existing and new suppliers
Develop a workflow process in line with the company computerization systems.
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Assess, manage & mitigate risks
Work with Cost Analyst to perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Collaborate with team and other staff to ensure business goals are met
Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc.
Develop procedures and process for contract flow
Entering and reconciling of all Purchase Orders for all Supermarkets, Store outlets to include but not limited to the hotel, small and medium store shop.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee both Cost Analysis and the Receiving Clerk(s)

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as inventory staff or similar position
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
Working knowledge of inventory management software, SAP experience a plus
Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
An analytical mind with strong math skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable & trustworthy

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Preferred, four-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or similar
Or, equivalent experience in same or similar role for 3-5 years

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Able to read, comprehend, and interpret simple instructions, correspondence, memos, and documents such as HOUSE safety rules, PPE. W. I. S. E and procedures and maintenance instructions.
Able to write routine simple correspondence.
Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and Employees.
Strong math skills required
Able to apply common sense, patience and understanding while carrying out detailed written and/or oral instructions.
Able to deal with and present problem-solving ideas that involve concrete variables in standardized situations.
