Duties & Accountabilities:
a) To manage startup, shutdown and operations of ASU;
b) Daily monitoring and recording of operating data which includes stock level, electricity, water, performance, etc;
c) Detect abnormalities and to report to Engineers;
d) Liquid transfer to walk-in customers’ and Brunox’s tankers;
e) Operate the weighbridge system;
f) Monitoring and recording of product quality data from analysers and to ensure products are within specifications;
g) Report and rectify any unsafe condition;
h) Ensure enough H2 and cooling water level;
i) Assist Engineers for any maintenance works;
j) Conduct external liquid transfer where necessary and during shutdown days;
k) For any major shutdowns or to assist with maintenance works;
l) For back-up to cylinder filling operations, operators may be required to resume normal 8 hours shifts;
m) Any assignment to project-related work;
n) Response to business needs of our customers while maintaining company business objectives and ensuring that at all levels the safety standards are strictly adhered.
Safety
a) Adherence to Job Order / Work Permit system and to maintain zero accident by complying to all Safety rules & regulations in accordance with AL IMS and Workplace Safety & Health Act;
b) Actively participate in safety meetings and promote safety among the workers; and
c) Ensure that the facility is operated in a safe, reliable and efficient manner, preserving the environment.
