We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing of goods.
You will be ultimately responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output.
We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures.

The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
Reporting to Deputy GM/GM
Assist Deputy GM in managing factory from maintaining factory, managing resources and ensuring operation of production running smoothly and as per national / international standards
Responsible for planning and organising production schedule; fully responsible for the daily work tasks of the production department to ensure the normal operation of production.
Coordinate and recommend procedures for facility and equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
Responsible for ‘5S’ activities of the department.
Responsible for the preparation of various documents with the technical assistance of the quality control department, the preparation of process parameters standards, revision of operating procedures and position instructions and other documents to guide and standardize the daily work.
Responsible for calling the relevant meetings of the department and solving the related problems in the production management activities on or off site.
Assessing project and resource requirements
Estimating, negotiating and agreeing budgets and timescales with clients and managers
Ensure production performance meet the expected performance from set by the management
Ensure Products are meeting standards and customer needs
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Determining quality control (QC) standards and ensuring standards are in place
Managing production processes and factory processes and ensure it is properly documented
Manage production expenses
Assist in the selection, ordering and receiving of raw materials (Harvesting to receiving)
Manage production and factory inventory
Able to operate production machines/factory equipment
Able to repair and organize routine maintenance of production/factory equipment
To regularly communicate the progress of factory with HQ or relevant department (i. e. budgets, expenses, inventory and other matters regarding production/ factory)
Supervising the work of junior staffs
Organising or requesting relevant training for the factory personnel
2-3 years of experience in managing production (Seafood production would be an advantage)
Deep knowledge of production management (knowledge in factory management is an advantage)
Fulfill all the responsibilities and tasks described in ISO 9001, ISO 18001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, HACCP and GMP plans and procedures
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in various situations
Knows how to operate production machines/factory equipment
Thorough understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations (HACCP/GMP and other recognized international standards)
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Proficient in MS Office
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Attention to detail
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
BSc/Ba in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field is preferred.
Flexible: Shift and ´on-call´ work may be required, particularly where manufacturing/production equipment is in continual 24-hour operation.
Able to live in Brunei (for non-Bruneian citizen) able to speak, read and write mandarin is an advantage
