Responsibilities:
Source rates are based on the required mode of transportation.
Work with internal product owners and external vendors to find the best solutions.
Prepare and send quotations based on required freight terms.
Collaborate with carriers or transport/service providers to find the best cost/options.
Maintain regular communication with our customers, keeping them informed about the status of their quotations.
Keep records and track all submitted quotations to overview our operations.
Report weekly/monthly winning percentage.
Once customers approve the quote, prepare a handover to the operation team to execute the shipments.
Sales Support will provide the SOP on the handover job. The required information is the scope of work, Freight term, Client Code, and TMF Information (Service Type/Plan/Level/Overseas Agent/Handling Agent).
Provide a final quote once the shipment has departed/delivered and ensure it is within the KPI timeline.
Skills & Abilities:
Preferred knowledge of the import/export industry.
Good interpersonal skills are needed to communicate effectively with clients and internal personnel.
Vital planning and organisational skills are essential.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Dependability: Ability to follow instructions and respond to management´s direction.
Strong computer skills are required.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Bachelor´s degree preferred.
2-3 years of client service experience preferred.
