Salary Range: Negotiable package
Job Classification: Software Developer (C#, Windows, Universal Windows Platform UWP applications)
Position: Initial 3 month contract with opportunity to be extended to full time employment on successfully and on-time completion of assigned tasks

Summary of Required Skills and Experience
Essential Skills
• Windows developer with C# and UWP application skills and experience
• Personal motivation to create and deliver reliable working code in a professional peer environment.

Desirable Skills
• e-Payments experience
• Mobile application development skills (iOS and Android)
• General system scripting skills and experience
• Understanding of networking and routing principles

Key Responsibilities
- To learn the systems & procedures of CAS & to create and deliver new applications for customer services
- Enhance & maintain existing CAS applications
- To liaise with customers & participate in the gathering of their business information, then to create and deliver applications with advice & instruction from the CAS technical team
- Monitor & maintain the existing applications. When required, to participate in upgrades to systems & applications
- Provide day to day technical support where required to CAS clients & CAS staff
- Testing & documenting the technical deliveries & also providing User Documentation written for distribution to clients
- Subject to demonstrating technical & professional capability, may be asked to travel overseas providing support for clients

Selection Criteria
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in computer science, software engineering (or equivalent)
- Windows application development experience including client/server applications (C#, UWP)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the CAS team
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of project management & time-management
- The ability to prioritise work in progress & meet delivery deadlines is highly valued
- Must have a Brunei work-permit or be prepared to obtain one with the assistance of CAS

Desired Selection Criteria
- Experience with programming languages and web technologies including Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Mobile application development skills (iOS and Android)
- General system scripting skills and experience
- Knowledge of cloud-computing environments (both at the application development & system administration levels)
- Understanding of networking and routing principles and experience
- Some knowledge of the payment industry standards & the financial services industry practices will be an advantage

CAS will send staff to industry training courses for the benefit of our staff & our company.
