Position: Spare Parts Manager

Main Job Function:
Lead, train and manage the parts team for smooth operations and sustainable growth
Ability to meet or exceed parts sales and profitability targets.
Hands on and ability to formulate, implement and monitor parts KPIs to maintain proper parts inventory levels, drive parts turns, timely parts orders and high customer enthusiasm.
Work closely with the principal and aftersales team for effective parts sales activities and positive results.
Administer and evaluate present and future needs, trends, concerns and profit opportunities of Spare Parts Department.
Reporting to: General Manager
Subordinates: Assistant Parts Manager, Parts Secretary, Counter and Store Staff
Close awareness and working relationship with HOD in particular.
Service Manager, Asst Workshop Manager and Fleet supervisor.
Maintain appropriate parts stock, maximise sea freight and timely arrival of stock.
Manage customs clearance incoming stock, documentation of airfreight and sea freight.
Maintain showroom accessory stock and display to highest standard.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for overall operation for the department.
Constantly evaluate performance of part staff, based on job description and objectives.
Select and ensure training of key personnel through training programme for service department.
Sales & Marketing
Handle customer complaints using Incident Report where applicable.
Monitor final control check procedures.
Recommend and implement marketing initiatives to increase sales.
Supervise and manage parts department.
Establish financial and operational objectives.
Conduct periodic meetings with key personnel.
Maintain reporting system required by management and Mercedes-Benz.
To oversee debtors control.
To review daily sales, profit and expenses results, and act as required to ensure budget is met or exceeded through the Daily Operating Control.
Maintain a high standard of presentation of facilities and personnel.
To adhere to Company Compliance Standards of ethical business dealing at all times.
Skills & Requirements:
Hands on parts management and operational experience.
Ability to learn, implement and drive best practices at workplace.
Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
At least 10 years of solid parts working experience in the Spare Parts Department.
Hold a valid Brunei Class 3 driving license.
Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English, written and verbal.
Position is open to Brunei Citizens and Permanent Residents only.
Salary and allowance entitlement are negotiable depending on skills and experience.
Education Required: First Degree or equivalent
Age: 35 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 3, 000 / Month
