Key Responsibilities
- To learn the systems & procedures of CAS & to create and deliver new systems for customer services that attract new clients & add to our company value (and yours)
- Enhance & maintain existing CAS systems & applications
- To liaise with customers & participate in the gathering of their business information, then to create and deliver a system/service with advice & instruction from the CAS technical team
- Monitor & maintain existing systems. When required, to participate in upgrades to systems & applications
- Provide day to day technical support where required to CAS clients & CAS staff
- Testing & documenting the technical deliveries & also providing User Documentation written for distribution to clients
- Subject to demonstrating technical & professional capability, may be asked to travel overseas providing support for clients

Selection Criteria
- Recognised tertiary qualifications in computer system administration/engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong system and network administration experience under Linux environments including web client/server applications
- Strong understanding of networking and routing principles and experience in creating and managing networks for service critical systems
- General system scripting skills and experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of the CAS team
- Good English verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of project management & time-management
- The ability to prioritise work in progress & meet delivery deadlines is highly valued
- Must have a Brunei work-permit or be prepared to obtain one with the assistance of CAS
Desired Selection Criteria
- Experience with VMWare, Citrix XenServer, PostgreSQL, Bacula, Nagios, Puppet, Red Hat Satellite
- Experience with Fortinet firewall management (FortiGate and FortiWeb)
- Experience with programming languages and web technologies including Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Knowledge of cloud-computing environments (both at the application development & system administration levels)
- Some knowledge of the payment industry standards & the financial services industry practices will be an advantage
