Technical Sales Engineer (Trainee)

Requirement:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in either:
o Information Technology, Engineering, Network & Security, Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
o Business studies, Business Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Has sales acumen

Responsibility:
• Maintaining relationships with clients by attending meetings and participating in social activities to build rapport
• Explaining technical concepts to non-technical people so they can understand how products work
• Creating proposals for new projects that detail costs and benefits of proposed solutions
• Preparing sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
• Demonstrating knowledge of products by using them appropriately in sales presentations
• Negotiating prices, terms, and conditions of sale with customers
• Developing long term relationships with current clients to increase business opportunities
• Proposing new product ideas to management based on client feedback and market trends
• Maintaining knowledge of the latest industry developments and technological advances in products or services offered by competitors
• Working closely with cross department within the organization to provide necessary support in business opportunities.

Experience:
No minimum experience is required, but it is also can be an advantage. Trainee will receive on-the-job training after hired. This training may include learning about the company’s products and services, the company’s sales process and the company’s computer systems. The training may also include shadowing a current senior staff to learn about the company’s products and services.
Technical sales engineers can also receive training through conferences and seminars. These conferences and seminars may focus on topics such as new product releases, industry trends and sales strategies
