IT Project Manager

About the role:

Reporting to the Manager - PMO, the Digital Lead/Project Manager - is responsible for the operational technology network for our global customers using Zoom Phone

Provide project consulting services: Personally, undertake project consulting activates such as project health checks & audits, project performance improvement, and at-risk project management.

Effectively plan the project, establish milestones, deliverables and manage resources, in order to meet the projects timeframes and milestones

About you:

You will be a key member of a customer focused, fast paced, dynamic and positive energy IT/OT team that is fully focused on supporting our Zoom customers and IT/OT teams achieve our goals and objectives. The role involves pro-active, hands-on approach to IT/OT project support and operational support, whilst working closely with the rest of the Global IT team supporting IT/OT across many areas. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with at least 2 years’ experience in supporting the delivery of IT/OT projects.

An analytical mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills

Sufficiently aware of overall plant priorities (including initiatives and major events) - for most plants the individuals that should be considered are the Ops leaders or OpEx Managers, who also own the overall site master plans.

Strong experience with using IT/OT technology to work effectively with IT/OT teams across multiple countries and time-zones

The time commitment will vary based on the site’s come from state and level of activity, but this role should be on an individual’s work plan. It’s not expected be full time in Digital scope of work

Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or similar.

Foundational knowledge of IT/OT hardware, software and infrastructure is required, with an understanding of best practice project methodologies.

Voice Engineer

The role of the Voice Engineer is to provide technical design, implementation and validation of communications, voice systems and Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions - particularly SIP services.

An understanding of troubleshooting practices and monitoring/alerting tools for Voice products is required as well as a strong knowledge in related technology areas such as Voice and Video Transport technologies (Switched Voice, SIP, etc. ).

Contact Centre support experience would be an advantage. This role will also provide Level 2/3 incident support for voice related services.

This position will interface directly with internal and external customers; architecture, engineering, service management and operations teams. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are a must. The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a larger Voice support team.

Adherence and use of standards, product sets, templates and industry best practices is a key component of the role. The Voice Engineer will be considered a subject matter expert in their field and is expected to stay current with various technologies, organizational goals and industry trends.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

Understanding of Voice & Video over IP technologies and protocols (SIP, H. 323, MGCP, SCCP, etc. )
Experience in troubleshooting complex voice faults
Deploying and supporting voice networks using hosted voice platforms
Knowledge and experience in networking would be advantageous
Knowledge of Linux is a must
