Job Details:

Position: Embroiderer
Total Vacancy: 2 Male/Female

JOB DESCRIPTION & WORK CONDITIONS:

• This position largely interacts with internal personnel (inventory, inventory assistant, line leader, quality check personnel and helpers)
• Accuracy is required in performing all functions of the position within established standards; errors in work could cause delays in schedules and result in loss of revenue.
• This position relies on efficiency and strict quality standards.
• This position requires the individual to be ready to start work on-time daily.
• This position requires superior hand/eye coordination and attention to detail.
• May on a continuous basis walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 45lbs while practicing proper safety procedure, as well as work in a standing position for extended periods of time, 6 – 7 hours daily.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• As embroiderer and programmer – we do not offer training on the technicality of position.
• Bonus skills – Position requires a positive attitude, close attention to detail, dependable and consistent attendance, and ability to work in a fast paced environment to set-up and operate a commercial embroidery machine.
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to maintain speed and efficiency with little supervision.
• Committed to excellent customer service.
• Strong basic computer skills: comfort with the Internet, MS Office, E-mail and the ability to utilize additional computer programs (Tajima, Yoanthin programs or anything similar).

BREAKDOWN OF JOB DUTIES:

Perform the entire embroidery process including:
• How to thread the machine
• Trouble shoot small machine problems
• Hoop garment and find center of hoop
• Program floppy into embroidery machine
• Trim garment and re-hang or fold garment
• Job would require 4-6 hours daily of embroidery machine work
• Select size and color thread and draws it through machine guides and bobbins
• Turn setscrews to regulate machine settings
• Operate 6-Head embroidery machine i. e. Yoanthin, Tajima, or anything similar.

Education Required: Pra Vokasional
Age: 28 - 45 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 500 / Month
