Position: Abseilor First Aid Painter - IRATA Level 1
Total Vacancy: 5 Male

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

- G. C. E. 'A' Level, Minimum of four (4) G. C. E. 'O' Levels or Company approved equivalent.
- Valid IRATA Level 1.
- Additional HSE competency certification required such as Tropical BOSIET.

EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

- Have at least 3 years of experience in oil and gas industry.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in rope access methods in oil and gas industry.
- Be fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Awareness of inspection and NDT techniques.
- Have good knowledge of all aspects related to Health, Safety and Environment in carrying out the work.

RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:

- Carrying out all first aid painting activities on risers, piping, vessels, structures and pipelines as specified by Painting/Senior Inspector in a safe, efficient and productive ma
er.
- Carry out the activities by rope access methods as may be required when normal access is not possible.
- Inspection and maintenance of abseiling ropes and accessories, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant abseiling procedures. He shall also ensure that all items of equipment in use are properly certified.
- Responsible for the quality of the work he performs, including the correctness of first aid painting works, is in accordance with the relevant approved procedure, Company painting requirements and as per scope of work requirements.
- Prepare and compile first aid painting reports on completion of each first aid painting activity, and submission of reports to Painting/Senior Inspector for approval.
- Ensure relevant Permit-to-Work is available and responsible for conducting toolbox talk before commencement of work.
