Position: Architectural Technician
Total Vacancy: 1 Male/Female

Responsibilities / Authorities:

1. Work closely with architects and other building professionals, providing architectural design services and solutions on construction projects.
2. Negotiate projects, assessing the needs of clients and users, and agree the project brief.
3. Design the project, preparing and presenting design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional methods.
4. Analyzing architectural plans and drawings, highlighting any possible risks or problems and making amendments using computer-aided design applications (CAD).
5. Manage projects, obtaining and evaluating tenders and contracts.
6. Evaluate and advise on refurbishment, repair, reuse, recycling and deconstruction of buildings.
7. Advise on environmental and regulatory legal requirements affecting the project.

Skills / Competency requirements / Qualifications

1. Strong interest in architecture, mathematics, drawing and design, with an excellent-eye for detail.
2. Art and design skills to complement technical know-how.
3. Strong communication and leadership skills.
4. Competence in CAD.
5. Strong planning and organization skills.
6. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team.
7. Ability to work well under time and budget pressures.
8. Analytical mind with strong problem-solving ability.
9. 15 to 20 years of experience.
10. 3D proficient.
11. M&E and site supervision.
12. Architectural and interior design quality / snagging control / manual drafting and sketching.
13. Bachelor in architecture degree.
14. Drafting technology graduate.

Education Required: First Degree or equivalent
Age: 25 - 55 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 2, 100 / Month
Employment Type: Full Time
