Position: CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
Total Vacancy: 5 Male

Job Description:

• Candidate must have a minimum of 8 years experience and at least 5 years offshore construction experience of which 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Must have a good knowledge on international construction and safety codes.
• He must be fully familiar with the hazardous high fire risk situations.
• Directly report to FE to assist job cards, walk the site to plan the work as site requirement prior to start of construction activity, manage to ensuring job cards is utilisethroughout the duration of towards close out to finalise OCC.
• Manage to ensure start date for upfrontconstruction activity inadvance with preparatory works without fail. ie; Habitats/Scaffolds /Isolations, etc, etc are readily in place.
• Continuously monitoring the completed JC’s to ensure ‘Close Out’ to ‘Sign Off” by relevant parties without fail with full documentations in place.
• Ensure ACSV’s takes them to site for verification to identify & shows, what needs to be completed at least 2 weeks in advance, ensuring compliance.
• Ensure scopes are managed with full control, upfront preparatory works, liaising with relevant parties, prior starts to end of scopes activity. Ie; Identify scopes on site to ‘clearly’ mark out, walk the site to plan the work in advance, understands, how & what needs to be done on readily mode. Ie; ready to go approach.
• Continuous communication needs is ‘key’ towards personnel engagement within BP’s working as a team.
• Work closely in parallel with Welfare Officer, ensuring teams attending mandatory ‘Toolbox Talk’ & HSE sharing prior start work to comply with rules & procedures.

- Understands quality requirement for welding, painting, flushing, hydro-testing and etc.
- Able to train subordinates in all relevant subjects.

Education Required: National Vocational Certificate (NVC) or equivalent (NTC)
Age: 35 - 50 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 223 / Day
Allowances: B$ 11
