REQUIREMENTS:

a) Preferably Bruneian
b) Shall be medically fit
c) Must have served a recognized apprenticeship training plus senior technician level qualification (Mechanical preferred)
d) At least 10 years offshore maintenance and construction experience of which 8 years in a supervisory role

SKILLS REQUIRED:

a) Must have a good knowledge on international construction and safety codes. He/she must be fully familiar with the hazardous high fire risk situations.
(b) It is necessary for him to have a sound knowledge of international and company standard specifications and welding procedures. Knowledge of welding techniques and procedures, and the wide range of pipe materials being used are required
(c) He/She must be able to interpret drawings and specifications and translate them into understandable terms. Training subordinates in this respect is a major part of the training role of his tasks
(d) He/She shall be fully familiar with the BSP Permit procedure including online permit system.
(e) He/She shall be skilled on Computer and able to read, write and speak English.
