Position: Fitter Mechanic
Total Vacancy: 3 Male/Female

Job Description:

Assist in fabrication and/or construction activities within the OWTI Project, or other project as directed, which include but not limited to the following activities:

- Handling of raw materials, e. g. piping or structural materials in preparation for welding, involving the correct and safe use of specific tools and equipment, such as powered grinders, drilling machines, torch cutters etc.
- Handling finished products (pipe spools, structural members etc. ) in preparation for subsequent testing
- Prepare and carrying out hydro-testing of finished pipe spools in fabrication shop following prescribed procedures.
- Carry out piping flange co
ection/disco
ection and bolt torque-ing in line with flange management procedures
- Prepare and carry out site hydro-testing and other site leak testing activities as per test packs
- Assist in the testing of mechanical equipment
- Cleaning of finished products, e. g. pickling and passivation of SS316 and DSS etc
- Carry out and maintaining good housekeeping at PTAS facilities and job sites
- Conduct routine checks on the tools and equipment before use
- Operational material handling equipment such as forklift trucks, overhead cranes etc. (optional)
- Carry out rigging and slinging activities
- Carry out additional duties as may be assigned by Mechanical Discipline Lead / Discipline Supervisor
- Carry out all duties strictly in accordance with the HSE Management System and in a ma
er which ensures their own health and safety and the health and safety of others
- Carry out all duties strictly in accordance with the Quality Management System to ensure high quality work is achieved at all times

Education Required: GCE ''O'' Level
Age: 25 - 45 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 1, 000 / Month
