Position: Floorman

Job Description:

• Handle drill pipes, casing and drilling equipment on the drill floor, and carry out first line maintenance on the equipment as instructed by the Tourpusher, Driller or the Assistant Driller Perform work in the shale shaker room, and carry out first line maintenance of all equipment used for mechanical separation of mud
• Perform daily cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance work on the drill floor, in the shale shaker room and as instructed
• Assist the Drilling Fluid Operator in mixing mud and chemicals, and in keeping the mud logs, when requested
• Carry out regular inspections of the derrick and related equipment, and check that the derrick is free of loose objects
• Assist the Rig Hydraulic in the execution of routine maintenance and lubrication of the derrick equipment and other drilling equipment Inform the Tourpusher, Driller or Assistant Driller regarding irregular situations within or near his area of work
• Perform other due work as ordered by the Tourpusher, Driller, Assistant Driller or other superiors
• Responsible when relieving in other positions according to the job description for the relieved person
• Assist the Drill Fluid Operator in keeping the mud logs when requested to do so


Education Required: GCE ''O'' Level
Age: 18 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 2, 200 / Month
