Position: GUEST SERVICE AGENT(RECEPTION)
Total Vacancy: 3 Male/Female
Job Description:
1) Perform basic office duties such as answering the telephone, emailing, faxing, photocopying, updating office info board, maintaining cleanliness at your work station and office.
2) Prepare letters/correspondences to hotel guests on any matters (apology letters, notices, reminders, warnings, etc).
3) Coordinate with other departments and work together in a team. Liaise with the Housekeeping Department, Front Office, and Kitchen team if necessary.
4) Ensure the smooth and efficient overall day-to-day operations of the Front Desk.
- Be involved in Sales and Marketing to boost hotel revenues.
5) Make work schedules for the front office staff.
6) Oversee that guests are welcomed, registered into a hotel’s computer system and assigned to their room.
7) Provide excellent customer service by exceeding guest expectations to build loyalty and assist in situations to ensure customer satisfaction.
8) Foster a culture where all hotel staff are empowered to wow the hotel guests.
9) Ensure department adherence to Company policies, procedures and standards to ensure that guest expectations are exceeded.
10) Make reservations or cancellations, verify and collect guests’ payments, issue room keys, etc.
11) Contact Operations Manager, Housekeeping or Maintenance when guests report a problem.
12) Coordinate hotel emergency procedures within the scope of defined plans.
13) Ensure all guests and hotel staff safety or in the event of an emergency and know what to do.
14) Maintain all essential front desk equipment and supplies.
15) Complete book-keeping duties, balancing accounts, balancing room inventory, achieving rate, etc.
16) Oversee Bell and Door staff in the absence of the Head of Department.
17) Prepare reports if any as requested.
18) Maintain guest privacy and security at all times, as well as confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
19) Work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.

er.
21) Perform routine checks in the area for monitoring the general cleanliness and well-being.
22) Participate on tasks requiring added assistance and help co-workers if needed.
- Keep track on priority tasks that need to be done.
23) Maintain working relationships and communicate with all departments.
24) Maintain master key control.
25) Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit.
26) Monitor all V. I. P’s special guests and requests.
7) Resolve guest problem quickly, efficiently and courteously.
28) Train and cross-train front desk perso
el in the tasks of registration, mail handling, information services, and check in and check-out procedures.
29) Conduct training for new staff and regular training every now and then.
30) Conduct regularly scheduled meetings/briefings front office staff.
Education Required: GCE ''A'' Level
Age: 22 - 30 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 14 / Day
