Position: i-Ready: Paralegal (Cheok Advocates & Solicitors)

Job Description:

• Degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
• Applicants with experience in Company Secretarial Services and Personal Injury Litigation will have an added advantage.
• Applicants will be required to assist in drafting legal opinions and a wide range of documents and assist lawyers with research.
• Must be competent and fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu (competence in the Chinese Language would be an advantage).
• Self-starter with ability to perform without significant direct supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Able to work independently with good time management and handle multiple priorities within deadlines.
• Effective use of MS Office applications with good typing skills for the generation of professional reports, scheduling and presentation.
• Applicants must hold at least a valid Drivers License.
