Responsibilities:
• Review clients’ requirements and assess construction plans
• Prepare and analyse project costings such as materials, quantity and subcontractors to ensure the best deals
• Prepare reports, tender, contracts, bill of quantities, risk management and other documents
• Prepare detailed progress report and analyse project outcomes
• Communicate with site managers, clients, subcontractors in negotiating their contracts and work schedules
• Oversee construction work until project completion
• Sourcing construction materials and monitor materials
• Keep track of any changes in construction plans, designs and adjustment in budgeting costs whenever necessary
• Maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Travelling from office to project sites as required
Requirements:
1. Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent
2. Experience working in quantity surveying is an advantage
3. Able to work in a team
4. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills
5. Possess negotiation skills and strong numeracy skills.
6. Detail-oriented
