Position: Radio Operator (Offshore)

Job Description:

He is the ship’s communication operator and fully responsible for all incoming and outgoing messages for the ship.

He is duty to keep all messages CONFIDENTIAL unless instructed otherwise by the Master.

Requirement Every person in charge of or performing radio duties on a ship required to participate in the GMDSS shall hold an appropriate certificate related to the GMDSS, issued or recognized by the Administration under the provisions of the Radio Regulations.

Every candidate for certification under this regulation for service on a ship shall:

1. Be not less than 18 years of age.
2. Have completed approved education and training and meet the standard of competence specified in section A-IV/2 of the STCW Code.
3. Have special abilities in HSE Awareness and know the ‘BSP House Rules’.

Education Required: GCE ''O'' Level
Age: 18 - 40 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 55 / Day
