Description

Position Summary:
A Rigger is responsible for preparing and securing loads for lifting, ensuring all rigging equipment is safe and properly attached, and assisting in guiding loads during lifting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Select and inspect slings, shackles, hooks, and lifting gear.
- Attach loads securely using appropriate rigging methods.
- Communicate with crane operators using hand signals or radios.
- Perform pre-use checks on lifting tools and ensure load balance.
- Assist in lifting, relocating, and positioning heavy equipment.
- Comply with lifting plans and safety procedures.
- Report damaged equipment or unsafe conditions immediately.
- Support dismantling and storage of rigging equipment after use.

Requirements:
- Local / Permanent Resident.
- Prior attendance to relevant safety courses would be an advantage.
- Must possess relevant certificates (Rigger Courses).
- Possess Class 3 Driving License.
