Position: Sales and Marketing Executive

Job Description:
1) Plan strategies and generate ideas to boost sales and increase hotel occupancy and revenues.
2) Possess a complete knowledge of hotel services and products.
3) Look for new clients as well as set appointments with all the corporate clients
4) Develop a strong business relationships and public relation skills to ensure a long term business with high standards of customers service.
5) Note that the working hours can be irregular on both weekends and evenings, as you may have to entertain the prospective guests, as well as meetings outside.
6) Oversee budgets for advertising, promotions and marketing.
7) Help to drive online traffic in updating social media and other promotional platforms.
8) Ensure to possess the very basic skills in updating Facebook and Instagram. Promptly respond to our social media followers if they have relevant enquiries.
9)Share guest reviews with hotel team to enhance the standards of hotel’s reputation and customer service.
10)Take photographs of hotel products and keep them in a proper labeled folder accordingly, to be used for advertisements.
11) In touch with Media Press for press releases, news, advertisements, interviews and any media related. And conduct a Press Conference.
12) Cut-out and keep a copy for any published related articles, either online or hardcopy.
13) Update info board and advert panels (inside the lifts) by putting up adverts/posters for upcoming promotional adverts, or any publicity info.
14) Work closely together with the Graphic Designer. Plan the contents and design layouts for advertisements/publishing materials.
15) To understand in the marketing field, initiate market research studies and analyse their findings, and relate to the current situations.
16) Protect company/organization's value by keeping information confidential.
17) As Sales and Marketing, you must make it easy for customers to find out about our hotel. Our website should include up-to-date guest information on hotel facilities and rates, travel and location with detailed information on meeting facilities for event organizers. Post hotel details on destination websites and online booking sites to increase reach to hotel target audience.
18) Collaborating with other meeting venues to offer their delegates accommodations or meeting space can give you access to other potential customers.
19) Developing promotions is an essential part of hotel marketing. You need to increase occupancy during times of the year when bookings are low.
20) Responsible for maximizing a hotel's revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of its accommodation.
