Position: Chef/Cooker
Total Vacancy: 5 Male

Job Description:

• Age 25-38 years of age
• Minimum experienced of 3 years as cook or assistant cook
• Can handle kitchen staff
• Flexible and can work long hours
• Committed to work long terms
• Can do multi-tasking in the kitchen and areas
• Knowledge in inventory and production monitoring
• High knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Handle cleanliness in and outside the restaurant
• Can do and introduce new menus from time to time
• Can prepare and make and cook Chinese and Malay style cooking sauces
• Cleaning the vegetables, seafood & meat
• Cooking the food for the customers
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
• Improves quality results by studying, monitoring, evaluation and re-designing processes.
• Implementing changes , maintaining and improving the appearance of store and kitchen
• Enhances shop reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
• To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with workmate in the outlet and other departments
• To keep Food & Beverage employees up to date with seasonally available products and new products on the market
• To be available and on duty during peak periods
• To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good customers relationship and handle all guests complaint, requests and inquiries on food, beverages and service
• To spend time in the outlets (during peak periods) to ensure that outlets is managed well by the respective outlet team and functions to the fullest expectations
• To ensure that deadlines on all projects are met
• Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is important
• Ensure all food and other items are store properly
• Monitor stocks and place orders when they are shortages Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage. CV has to be provided with a list of menus

Education Required: Higher National Certificate (HNC) or equivalent
Age: 23 - 38 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 600 / Month
