Job Description:

• Participate in pre-lift meeting / toolbox talk prior to the lifting activity to be based on detailed lifting plan and task-based risk assessment
• Carry our pre-use inspection of the lifting equipment prior to the lifting activity
• Able to identify potential hazards associated in
• Lifting operations and implement control measures to address them.
• Assess the lifting area from any movable obstructions, re-routing if obstructions ca
ot be removed practically, plan the route for the lifting & moving the minimize any risk.
• Ensure proper site preparations are in place for mobile crane set up prior to the lift (i. e. : barriers/barricades, warning signs & etc. ).
• Assess the load for approximate weight, incorporating adequate safety factors, load security requirements, slinging protection.
• Able to assess the load characteristics and determining slinging requirements and how to secure load from becoming dropped object and maintain stability throughout the lifting operation.
• Understand the requirements of appropriate PPE and the needs for high visibility vest.
• Understand the importance of relaying the signals or communication clearly.
• Able to prepare and rig up slings (pre-slung) on different types of lift scenarios like:
- Standard / Simple Lift load
- Bundled tubular loads
- A load with an offset COG
- Load consist of bulk hose handling
- Load involving a CCU.

• Able to direct lifting operations by relaying hand signals and/or radio communication for different types of lift scenarios such as:
- Free access simple lift involving a load using a single leg sling
- Restricted access lift
- Bundled tubular lift
- Lift with a load having an offset or eccentric COG
- Blind Lift (hand signals and radio communication)


Education Required: GCE ''O'' Level
Age: 25 - 40 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 800 / Month
