Position: Fitter
Total Vacancy: 20 Male
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 year’s experience of a refinery, petrochemical plant, fertilizer with welding on all kind of material
- Having necessary expertise & practical skill for each type of work.
- Having experience in construction work.
- Ability of understanding erection drawings.
- Strong technical understanding of construction work related to piping fabrication and installation
- Ability to utilize and operate a range of tools and equipment in installing, and repairing pipe systems
- Ability of scheduling the material for the work.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Comfort working in high-stress environment
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Willingness to stay at Employer's camp located in construction site (SPARK)
Job Descriptions:
General:
- Receive necessary work permits before starting of work. . .
- Receives work instructions, drawing, specification as required from Foreman and perform installation work.
- Perform all the installation works as per construction procedures and guidelines.
- Use right tools and equipment for the job and operate heavy duty specialised tools.
- Operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc
- Carry-out necessary testing work
- Maintain strict compliance with project safety standards.
- Consult with Foreman for any technical issues.
- Perform good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.
- Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to project requirements.
- Attend Tool box talk before commencing work.
- Comply with all safety, health and environment standards and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Attend the Safety and technical training as schedule
Details:
- Carry-out required piping works following job instructions, drawings, material specification and technical references from Foreman.
- Sets up, aligns, and operate heavy duty specialized tools to cut, thread and groove all types of pipes and joints.
- Organize resources like material and equipments for pipe work
- Carry-out necessary hydro, pneumatic testing, etc. )
Education Required: National Diploma
Age: 20 - 40 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 500 / Month
