Position: Mechanical Supervisor
Total Vacancy: 4 Male

1. Requirements:

- Engineer at university level in mechanics
- At least 5 years experience in the industrial projects such as power, fertilizer, refinery plants with the same position
- Strong decision making abilities and i
ovative to generate ideas.
- Knowledgeable with international standards relevant Gas/ Petroleum/ Power/ fertilizer/ refinery plant.
- Ability to procedure and apply PTW for each kind of works.
- Ability to understand and implement mechanical drawings (section dwg; construction dwg; P&ID; alignment specification, flushing/blowing procedure; piping specification. etc)
- Good in report writing and presentation skills
- Fluently English skills
- Competency in Microsoft and other application support for the work such as CAD, SKETCH, NAVIS, Primavera etc.
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
- Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
- Strategic thinking, open to new ideas.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Willingness to stay at Employer's camp located in construction site (SPARK)

Static equipment:
- Extensive project mechanical static equipment construction experience
- Technical advice on disassembly and assembly of various type and sizes of mechanical equipment and components (columns, pipes, tanks, heat exchangers etc. , )

Rotating equipment:
- Extensive project mechanical rotating equipment construction experience
- Technical advice on disasembly and essambly of various type and sizes of mechanical equipment and components (Pump, fans, compressors, steam turbine, air blowers, gear boxes etc. , )
- Experience for the preservation of the equipment during erection works.

Steel structure:
- Extensive piping construction experience
- Technical advice on disassembly and assembly of various type and sizes of steel structure components (supporting structure for equipment, boiler steel structure, pipe-rack, material storage house. , )

Piping:
- Extensive piping construction experience
- Technical advice on piping fabrication and installation works (fit-up, alignment, welding, hydro-test. , )

2. Job Description:

- Calculating and pla
ing resources required, allocating manpower resources, equipments and materials availability, scheduling and coordinating staff, evaluating milestone and conclusions, evaluating and implementing change orders.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with project regulations.
- Schedules and effectively supervises the work of laborers, truck, drivers, and equipment operators and sub-contractors in accordance with agreed targets to avoid disruption
- Inspects all areas for safety compliance and corrects any unsafe practices or conditions, and makes needed corrections.
- Inspects and maintains equipment in good working order.
- Collects, codes and reports employee and equipment time for recording and reporting.
- Arrange necessary work permits before starting of work.
- Provide technical advice to direct workforce to use proper tools and equipments.
- Monitor all ongoing jobs, and update the progress to Superintendent.
- Lead/Attend daily and weekly progress meetings.
- Lead and support riggers in all lifting activities including allocation of required lifting gears and manpower for the job.
- Ensure that all members of the team are focused on delivery of HSE and Quality plans.
- Attend the safety and technical training as scheduled.
- Identify the training requirements for direct manpower
- Conduct Tool box talk before commencing work.
- Ensure the compliance of safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE usage according to NSRPstandards.
- Encourage reporting of near miss, unsafe conditions and acts.
- Proper knowledge about plant Hazard materials.
- Ensure all necessary controls in place to minimize risk and/or eliminate hazards.

Education Required: Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent
Age: 25 - 40 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 1, 000 / Month
