Position: PARTS COUNTERHAND
Total Vacancy: 1 Male

Job Description:

• Assist all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient ma
er.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Pull and fill orders from stock.
• Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts that need immediate ordering.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside source and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
• Notify all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been received.
• Pull orders for delivery to workshop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer name or car registration no and job number.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory daily.
• Verify will-call and back-order files weekly and return to vendors or stocks those items not picked up or required.
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization from vendors.
• Ensure all charge sales are signed by the customer and all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
• Monitor inventory in order to determine which parts require special ordering
• Search part numbers or to use the computer and standard catalogs for sourcing parts information and pricing.
• Monitor bins and determine which parts need reordering and accurate parts tracking.
• Assist the Parts Manager on analysing and resolving discrepancies between computer inventory and actual parts on hand.
• Place new parts on display – set up parts display counter.
• Demonstrate and explain the parts and accessories function to customers.

SKILLS REQUIRED:-

• Minimum Diploma in Automotive certification
• Minimum 3 working experience in related field
• Automotive dealership service experience is an added advantage
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
• Strong organisational skills and detail oriented
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Computer literate (Internet, Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Understand basic automotive components and system
• Possess a valid driving license

Age: 24 - 40 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Salary: B$600 to 850. 00 (salary to commensurate with working experience)
Employment Type: Full Time
