Position: Rigger
Total Vacancy: 5 Male

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 3 year’s experience of a refinery, petrochemical plant, fertilizer with welding on all kind of material
- Having necessary expertise & practical skill for each type of work.
- Having experience in construction work.
- Ability of understanding erection drawings.
- Understand weights of equipment and rigging tools
- Ability to read drawing or create lift plans
- Skilled at driving lifting equipment
- Skilled with power tools
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Comfort working in high-stress environment
- Good physical condition and stamina
- Willingness to stay at Employer's camp located in construction site (SPARK)

Job Descriptions:

General:

- Receive necessary work permits before starting of work. . .
- Receives work instructions, drawing, specification as required from Foreman and perform installation work.
- Perform all the installation works as per construction procedures and guidelines.
- Use right tools and equipment for the job and operate heavy duty specialised tools.
- Operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc
- Carry-out necessary testing work
- Maintain strict compliance with project safety standards.
- Consult with Foreman for any technical issues.
- Perform good housekeeping during and after completion of jobs.
- Achieve completion of jobs to quality and schedule according to project requirements.

Detail:

- Perform in all lifting activities including allocation of required lifting gears and manpower for the job.
- Dismantle and store rigging equipment after use
- Attach loads to rigging to provide support or prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools
- Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms, using bolts and clamps
- Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces, using chainfalls, gin poles, gallows frames, and other equipment
- Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear to move or support materials such as heavy equipment, ships, or theatrical sets
- Select gear such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules
- Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, in order to ensure safety of workers and materials
- Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability.

Education Required: National Diploma
Age: 25 - 40 years old
Basic Salary: B$ 450 / Month
