Position: Production Helper
Total Vacancy: 5 Male/Female

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities

- Ensures high level of hygiene of the working environment
- Follows the established rules, targets about the waste products and safety rules
- Works cooperatively with the production team and follows orders from supervisor(s)
- Maintains the refinery and margarine work areas (including control room) in clean and orderly condition: sweeps and mops floors
- Loads materials into production machines, moves raw and scrap materials, finished products and equipment throughout the facility
- Reports any machinery or cleanliness issues to the head of the department and/or management
- May also involve in sorting, packing and unpacking of raw materials and finished products
- May also perform general housekeeping duties including maintenance inspections on machines, tools and/or equipment

Qualifications and Requirements

- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level, O-Level or Advanced Level (A-Level) qualification
- Has experience working in a production plant or any engineering company would be an advantage
- Has sufficient physical ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting activities and carrying variety of equipment and tools
- Maintains the necessary activities in the framework of work safety and quality standards
- Can adapt to shift hours and flexible working order
- Able to operate effectively in a team
- Work well under pressure and meet strict datelines
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Able to read and understand technical manuals
- Having readiness and willingness to support other department(s) if needed as per company requirement
- Self-motivated and able to communicate well in Malay and English language
