Position: VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Job Description:

- Provided animal care such as feed, water, walk, transport, restrain and groom animals
- Maintained patient records by accurately recording treatments and test results on patient charts and other medical records
- Administered medication as directed
- Applied strong communication and customer service skills
- Assisted in preparation, surgery and recover of patients.
- Recorded patient history during exams prior to the doctor´s examination
- Cleaned soiled cages, restocked treatment and lab areas with supplies, and daily cleaning of entire clinics
- Assist in the taking of x-rays
- Performed fecal float examinations
- Fill prescriptions; demonstrated proper administration of oral and topical medications
- Receptionist´s duties including answering client calls, scheduling appointments, filing and preparing charts

Education Required: National Diploma
Age: 20 - 30 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 18 / Day
Employment Type: Full Time
