Position: Floorman

Job Description:

• Handle drill pipes, casing and drilling equipment on the drill floor, and carry out first line maintenance on the equipment as instructed by the Tourpusher, Driller or the Assistant Driller
• Perform work in the shale shaker room, and carry out first line maintenance of all equipment used for mechanical separation of mud
• Perform daily cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance work on the drill floor, in the shale shaker room and as instructed
• Assist the Drilling Fluid Operator in mixing mud and chemicals, and in keeping the mud logs, when requested
• Carry out regular inspections of the derrick and related equipment, and check that the derrick is free of loose objects
• Assist the Rig Hydraulic in the execution of routine maintenance and lubrication of the derrick equipment and other drilling equipment
• Inform the Tourpusher, Driller or Assistant Driller regarding irregular situations within or near his area of work
• Perform other due work as ordered by the Tourpusher, Driller, Assistant Driller or other superiors
• Responsible when relieving in other positions according to the job description for the relieved person
• Assist the Drill Fluid Operator in keeping the mud logs when requested to do so


Education Required: GCE ''O'' Level
Age: 18 - 50 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 2, 200 / Month
