Job Details:

Basic Salary: B$1, 300 - B$2, 000 / Month
Allowance: B$100 per month
Employment Type: Full Time

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for identifying, accessing, and advising on risks arising from the Construction-site, workplace or business processes, recommending measures to eliminate or minimize and control the risks and implementing the measures.
- Responsible for preventing or reducing health and environmental risks, and improving quality of processes.
- Identify risks and analytical to analyze risks in risk matrix.
- To assist any duties assigned by the Manager or Project Manager involving HSE and Workshop Coordination.
- Involve in site safety coordination, inspection and reporting. Working hand-in-hand with the Site Supervisor. May require to be on-call at all times, in the case of urgencies, emergencies, or incidents.
- To support Site Supervisor in Monitoring and addressing HSE inputs on every Scope of Work provided or performed by the Company.
- To review and update policies in accordance to National or International Legislation.
- Involve in management Risk assessments and Site Inspections on Construction-Site, to ensure and perform regular inspections and assessments to identify and evaluate potential on-site hazards, while also advising Supervisor on assessing the work processes.
- Conduct a thorough investigation, and Responsible to drive for all close-out of Remedial Orders or Incident Reports at hand. Conduct interviews with witnesses and possible the victim(s).
- To attend and participate in Government Meetings relating to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Departments, and consultants on the affairs relating to the Company.
- Produce a monthly HSE Report that impact efficiency.
- Facilitate discussion on reports and findings and ways to improve.
- Ensure department and governance compliance are adhere to.
- Produce and facilitate a weekly LFI (Learning from Incidents) to the Team to create awareness.
- Ensure all duties partake by the Workers knows their responsibilities, able to identity risks on the tasks (JHA), and adhere to proper methods and PPE to be worn at all times.
- Produce and implement health and safety policies and procedures that protects workers from harm. Develop HSE Documents.
- To maintain accurate records of all risk assessments, site inspections, investigations, and compliance breaches.
- Organizing Health and Safety Training, to ensure the health and safety of employees and maintain the compliance with regulations.
- Monitor Safety Trends in Construction-Sites to combat risks in the Construction Industry.
- Prepare HSE Monthly reportings and statistics to Management.
- Manage Workshop Housekeeping.

Qualification and Requirements:

- HND or Bachelor´s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in HSE preferably in Construction or Oil & Gas.
- Certification from NEBOSH, IOSH) is preferred.
- Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu. Able to speak Mandarin would be an advantage.
- Highly motivated individual with minimal supervision is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and is willing to take on challenges for future career progress.
