Position: HVAC Electrician

Job Description:

Job Scope:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Ensure work is in accordance with relevant codes.
• May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.

Requirement & Responsibilities:

• Shall possess a minimum Technical qualification of National Diploma or equivalent with a minimum 7 years working experience as electrician.
• Capable of assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Able to connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Able to handle with testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Shall be able to read electrical single line drawing and technical specification.
• Plan lay out and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specification and local codes.
• Shall be able to write and communicate in English / Melayu with superiors or subordinates by providing information.
