Position: Internal Auditor

Job Description:

Responsibilities as Internal Auditor

• Objectively review the bank’s business processes
• Evaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place
• Protect against fraud and theft of the bank’s assets
• Ensure that the bank is complying with relevant laws and statutes
• Make recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes
• Focus on operational and performance audits
• Report to the Board of Directors

The minimum requirements for this position are:

• University Degree in Finance, Accounting or any related field
• 3-5 years in a similar position is required
• Familiarity with common techniques that are used in the practice of internal auditing
• Above average analytical and critical thinking
• Knowledge of Islamic Banking and Syariah compliance would be highly desirable
• Good knowledge of Bahasa Melayu and the English language
• Excellent communication skills.
