VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

• An established and reputable higher learning institution is seeking for applications for the following job positions to be based in Kuala Belait.

Job position: PART-TIME / SHORT-TERM CONTRACT IT Lecturer

• A qualified candidate to teach short courses and academic programmes ranging from certificate, diploma to higher national diploma level in IT field.

Qualification and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications in IT field.
• Candidate with working and/or teaching experience in IT field is preferred.
• Proficient in using digital media software (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience in graphic, web design, animation, visual arts/film, or other multimedia and programming software (Blender Tools, Visual Basic, Java, VB. net).
• Experience in web programming (PHP, JQuery, ASP. net, CSS). Experience in database programming (SQL server, MySQL, Access).
• Familiar in general and open source computer software including Apple OS, Microsoft Windows, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and other cloud-based platforms like Google Docs.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic computer and software problems.
• Equip with good English and interpersonal skills.
