Position: MAINTENANCE (OFFSHORE)

Job Description:

• Ensure that safety critical maintenance is effected and managed to secure the integrity of the installation, any defects being reported to the OIM or BSP Crew
• Monitor equipment and systems to ensure that the required performance is maintained or enhanced in order to secure the safety and/or commercial objectives of the asset
• Be accountable for the control of defined elements of the BSP & HMM
• Provide full logs and reports on handover and information on a shift by shift back to back basis to ensure the best flow of information and experience
• Maintenance and repair of Complex household; toilet, rooms, kitchen, messroom etc
• Complete daily work orders as assigned and update team with daily work reports outlining progress and new issues.
• Identify when external contractor/vendor is needed, and work in collaboration with contractor/vendor to complete work.
• Develop and maintain inventories of repair/maintenance materials.
• Perform maintenance job functions and food supplies as needed
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance as needed (e. g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, etc. )
• Perform minor painting, carpentry and masonry work as indicated (e. g. preparing surfaces for touch ups, apply paint, repair/caulk doors and windows, replace door handles/closers, patch holes in walls, etc. )
• Participates in Job Safety Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Working knowledge of company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
• Some night and weekend work will be needed as workload requires.
• Identifies complex problems and reviews related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions with BSP Maintenance Complex Crew.
• Communicates detailed plans for work assignments and is the first point of contact for issues that arise on the shift
• Continues to perform equipment repairs and similar duties that require no oversight or direction
• Repairing and adjusting system components or removing and replacing defective parts
• Complete tasks in a timely manner and provide feedback
• Collaborate with the Camp Boss in all aspects of maintenance, repair procedures and future plans for avoiding delay risks imposed by the breakdown of equipment features
• Ensure that there are enough tools, consumables and parts for the maintaining of the equipment.
• Report to the Camp Boss for misuse of equipment
• Abreast of proper electrical safety regulations and wear safety clothing at all times as well as use safety equipment in order to reduce any risks of serious injuries

Education Required: Pre National Diploma (PND) or equivalent (SC1, SC2, SC3)
Age: 25 - 40 years old
Driving License Class: 3
Basic Salary: B$ 70 / Day
