Description
Job Requirements
• Degree or Certificate from a recognized Culinary School or college would be an added advantage but not mandatory
• Preferably with at least 2 years working experience as Assistant Chef and above 18 years old
• Flexibility to cook Asian and Western Cuisines
• Good supervisory and/or leadership skills to assist Head Chef to manage kitchen staff and team player
• Have own transport
Job Scopes
• Back up for Head Chef if absent or on off day
• Assist Head Chef to prepare the food and oversee the overall smooth running of the kitchen including timely delivery of high-quality food to customers consistently and rectifying any customer complaints
• Assist Head Chef with kitchen inventory control and management of minimizing food wastage
• Ensure good hygiene in kitchen and food safety at all times
• Assist Head Chef with weekly grocery shopping for ingredients (where necessary)
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned at Management’s discretion
Benefits & Remunerations
• Salary Range: BND 600 to BND 800 depending on your qualifications and experience
• TAP and SCP for Local hires only
• One off day per week
• Overtime payment
• Staff housing or housing allowance for non-Local hires
