Banksman

Position Summary:
A Banksman controls vehicle movements in and around work sites and gives clear instructions to crane operators during lifting operations to ensure safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and signal to crane or forklift operators to guide load movement.
- Ensure clear paths and exclusion zones during lifting/vehicle operations.
- Act as the eyes and ears for operators with limited visibility.
- Monitor the lifting environment for potential hazards or obstacles.
- Coordinate with riggers and PIC to execute lifting tasks safely.
- Stop operations if unsafe conditions are observed.
- Ensure all operations comply with Permit to Work and site rules.

Requirements:
- Local / Permanent Resident.
- At Least 2 years experience in the above field.
- Prior attendance to the relevant safety courses would be an advantages.
- Must possess relevant Certificates (Rigger / Banksman Course).
- Possess Class 3 Driving License.
