Job Description:
1. Be involved in stock control and management
2. Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
3. Being responsible for processing cash payments
4. Stocking shelves with merchandise
5. Answering queries from customers
6. Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor
7. Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
8. Balancing cash registers with receipts
9. keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes sweeping & mopping.
10. Responsible dealing with customer complaints
11. Working within established guidelines
12. Attaching price tags to merchandise on the shop floor
13. Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
14. Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays.
15. Greeting customers who enter the shop.
16. Knowledge of inventory techniques.
17. Able to work as part of a sales team
18. Comfortable working with members of the public
19. Must be helpful and polite
